Black Archive Project: Chicago Uprisings

The Black Archive Project: Chicago Uprisings 2020 is an intimate, short-video series presenting first-hand accounts from movement leaders, protestors, organizers, and artists present during the George Floyd & Breonna Taylor protests in 2020.

The Black Archive Project: Chicago Uprisings exhibited at Blanc Gallery in May 2021 as a part of Resita Cox’s solo gallery exhibition. The show included three of the six short films, original poetry and behind-the-scenes photography captured by Taylor Mason.
